Technology In Grade 8
This whole year in grade 8 Technology we learnt a lot of useful skills in managing softwares and working with making videos and editing them. We also learnt how to make an album using PS Photo Shop. Basically we focused mainly on operating Multimedia operations.
The first exercise we had done was to make a video and then edit it so that we could show it to the class. The video had to consist of one person going to their destination but there is a climax where the person is walking and he/she hears a sound and the person gets scared and runs some where. But the source of the sound is never known. And in the end some how the person must escape the sound.
The second project we had done was another video but the concept on this was different. In this video we had to make a video on a social issue currently affecting the community. The group I was in included Raisa, Lisa, Alina, Olivia and Nidhi. In my group I was the cameraman. In this assignment we had to edit the video by our own-selves and had to include some kind of modification or transitions when your scene was going to change.
The next thing we did was new concept for me because this involved PhotoShop. Before this lesson i never knew how to use Photo Shop and editing photos. Well in this assignment i found out how to use Photo Shop. We had to edit a magazine and paste our picture on the cover of any magazine. The magazine i chose was Time. I also had to edit the text on the front cover of the magazine and write my name.
This year was my best year in Technology through out grade 6 and 7 grades.
